About Odisha Research Centre
WHO WE ARE
Odisha Research Centre is an interdisciplinary research institute established in 2023 to undertake innovative epistemological explorations into various dimensions of Odisha's history, culture and society.
Supported through grant-in-aid by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), the objective is to encourage research and academic collaborations, archive, and document Odisha's rich heritage and history by adopting a multi-disclplinary approach.
Such academic initiatives, grounded in emperical framework will help in facilitating better understanding of Social Dynamics of contemporary of Odisha in the context of historical Past, Arts, Artifacts, Literature, Architecture, folk forms, dance and other cultural practices in the background of a globalized world order.
