The Odisha Research Centre (ORC) was established as a grant-in-aid research institute by ICSSR. The institute provides a platform to explore various facets of Odisha's life and living - past, present and future. This institute is seeking applications from eligible candidates for the post of Manager (Procurement & Estate).

Qualifications

Master’s degree in a relevant social science or management discipline from a recognised university.

Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant work experience in academic coordination, project management, or research administration within a government, academic, or development-sector organization.

Strong analytical skills with experience in reviewing project materials, research reports, and documentation.

Working knowledge of estate management and public procurement procedures.
Key responsibilities:

Project & Event Management: Coordinate day-to-day academic operations, track research initiatives, and execute logistics for seminars, workshops, and fieldwork.

Quality Assurance: Review and evaluate research proposals, project materials, and academic reports to maintain high standards.

Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between project teams, scholars, and external partners.

Facilities & Assets: Oversee the basic upkeep of ORC premises and manage inventory tracking.

Procurement Support: Assist with purchasing goods and services in compliance with institutional guidelines.
